If you’re anything like me, you’ve searched high and low to find a skin care routine that works. I’m always trying new products with minimal success. It’s important to me to find a product that has no chemicals and is as natural as it can get – I struggle with perioral dermatitis and even the smallest amount of a synthetic chemical causes flare ups.
Denali Dreams is a company that specializes in handcrafted soaps and bath products from Alaska.
I recently tried Denali Dreams “Killer Queen Klondike Kate’s” line and to say that I’m in love with it would be an understatement.
So, what is it?
This gift pack comes with a rose water facial spray, nourishing balm, and complexion foaming soap bar. (There’s an option to include a cute little carry case as well.)
There are no synthetic ingredients used in any of these products! The facial spray consists of distilled water, rose water, aloe powder, and leucidal, which is a natural preservative. The balm has beeswax, almond oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, and essential oils. And the soap has essential oils and oats!
The complexion bar lathers into a rich creamy foam that is so soft. The facial spray comes out a fine mist and dries fast. The buttery balm leaves your face feeling a bit oily, but not to worry! Your skin will absorb the oils in a couple minutes and your skin will be glowing!
When I brought this in from the mail the box smelled heavenly! They are a bit strong but this is so the scent stays on your skin when you use the product. When I walk into my bathroom where I store them it’s the first thing I smell. It kind of doubles as a natural air freshener for my bathroom now.
How I Use It
I start by using the complexion bar to cleanse my face. I lather it up, apply it, wash it off, and dry my face.
Next, I spray the facial spray and let it dry. I follow that with the balm and let it soak in for a couple minutes before I apply my make up. I have combination skin so I
need something that will take out all the bad oils that build up and replace it with good oils.
For the price of $25.95 USD I’d say this facial line is a steal! I can see the products definitely lasting a couple months, maybe more. You only need the smallest amount each time. They have perfected an amazing gentle formula full of essential oils and natural ingredients. All in all I’d give this a 10 out of 10!
